Postcard F. Ženíšek: Messenger of Freedom – painterly, historical

The postcard depicts a painting by F. Ženíšek entitled The Messenger of Freedom. On the obverse side there is a scene with a winged figure of a woman, holding a protective hand over a kneeling young man, a bird flies above them. In the background there is a silhouette of a castle at sunset.
