Postcard Přemysl Oráč – Czech history, small format until 1950

An older postcard titled Přemysl from the Plough to the Throne depicts an iconic scene from Czech history. The illustration depicts Přemysl the Ploughman receiving a message calling him to the princely throne. The motif is inspired by famous scenes from national history and refers to Czech statehood. On the reverse of the postcard is an inscription describing the scene. The postcard is small in size and dates from the period before 1950. The postcard is in good condition for its age – slight patina, some burrs, see photos.
