Žižka on Vítkov outside Prague – historical postcard, small format, sent

Original historical postcard with the motif of Žižka in front of Prague on Vítkov Hill. The postcard depicts a famous scene from the Hussite Wars, where Jan Žižka and his army stand on Vítkov Hill, with a view of Prague in the background. It is a small format, the postcard was sent, on the back there is a period stamp and handwritten text and an address directed to Brno. The publisher is FJ Jedlička, Prague, No. 705 S. 152 c.6. The postcard is valuable to collectors primarily for its historical, patriotic and artistic motif and the authenticity of postal service at the beginning of the 20th century. An excellent addition to the collection of old Czech postcards with motifs of national history.
