Older postcard with a painted motif depicting a historical scene - bringing news of the defeat of the Czechs on White Mountain to the winter king Frederick the Palatinate in 1620. The postcard shows a group of nobles and ladies in period costumes, the story takes place at a laid table in a sumptuous room, in the foreground a young man with a jug. The front side of the postcard has a Czech inscription and the back side has a handwritten text, address and a postage stamp with a stamp from the town of Přelouč. Very nice collector's condition, slight signs of age, suitable for a collection of historical or painted postcards.
