Bodenbach Schäferwand – old postcard, railway tunnel, Děčín

An old postcard from the Austro-Hungarian period depicting the motif Bodenbach a. E. Schäferwand mit Restauration, i.e. a view of the railway tunnel and station near the Schäferwand rock massif in Děčín-Bodenbach (today part of the Czech Republic). The postcard is hand-colored, with typical period processing and detailed depiction of the railway infrastructure, including the tracks, tunnel and surrounding buildings. The postcard was sent, has a period stamp and a handwritten message in German. There are minor signs of age on the obverse and reverse. A great collector's item, especially for lovers of railway history and the Děčín area.
