New Year's postcard USSR 1988 - animals, V. Zarubin, handwritten

Original postcard from the USSR period with a New Year's motif, sent in 1988. On the front side there is a beautiful illustration by the artist V. Zarubin, depicting a winter scene with a bunny with a drum, a squirrel with a trumpet and tits on spruce branches. At the bottom there is a Russian inscription С Новым годом! (Happy New Year!). The back side contains a personal handwritten wish, a postage stamp and a USSR stamp. The postcard is a great collector's item, suitable for lovers of old Soviet postcards, including the thematic focus on children's motifs, animals and New Year's postcards. Very well preserved condition, minor signs of age on the edges. Suitable for collectors and as a gift.
