Pardubice - historical postcard, Protectorate, 1941

I am offering an original historical postcard with a view of the city of Pardubice, probably from the first half of the 20th century (according to the design and the stamp used from the time of the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia). The postcard depicts a panorama of the city with a prominent church and the urban landscape including the industrial district and parkland in the foreground. On the back is a handwritten text addressed to Mrs. Tučková in Starý Kolín, with a postmark of Pardubice dated 28.VII.41. The postcard is franked with the stamp 60h Böhmen und Mähren - Čechy a Moravia. The condition of the postcard corresponds to its age, the corners are slightly frayed, otherwise without major defects. An interesting piece for collectors of historical postcards from Czech cities.

The text description is for guidance only and may not always be 100% accurate - what you see in the photos is what matters.
