Original black and white postcard of the town of Chrudim depicting the historic square with the dominant Baroque plague column statue and the surrounding townspeople's houses. The negative photograph beautifully captures the atmosphere of the old town and the architectural details of the buildings from the period before the middle of the 20th century. The postcard has not been used, the back is clean with space for a stamp and address, publisher Orbis. Excellent collector's condition and an interesting regional motif suitable for a collection of postcards of East Bohemia.
