Postcard Hornické Kladno, Czechoslovakia, 1931, industry, collage

Original historical postcard from the mining town of Kladno, sent in 1931. On the front side is a collage of industrial and mining buildings with the inscription Hornické Kladno. The postcard illustrates the industrial character of the town in the first half of the 20th century, period buildings and chimneys. On the other side is a handwritten text, address and period stamps of Czechoslovakia (with portraits of TG Masaryk and another statesman), including a legible postmark. The postcard bears traces of circulation, minor wear to the edges, but is very nicely preserved. An interesting collector's item representing Czech industrial history and postal operations in the interwar period.
