Kolín – postcard, small format, 1937, Czechoslovakia
Older black and white postcard depicting the panorama of the city of Kolín with the silhouette of the Church of St. Bartholomew and an industrial landscape with a factory chimney. The postcard is addressed to Miss Hana Hruškarová to Košťany u Teplice-Šanov and has a handwritten greeting dated 9. 3. 1937. On the back there is a clearly legible Czechoslovak postage stamp with the Kolín postmark. This is a historically interesting piece that depicts the urban and architectural state of Kolín in the first half of the 20th century. The postcard is slightly worn due to age, see photo for condition. Ideal for collectors of historical postcards of Czech cities.
