The postcard captures a picturesque view of part of the village of Vrané nad Vltavou and the surrounding nature with the dam, including a historic restaurant by the reservoir. On the reverse is a German-Czech description: Restauration bei der Talsperre in Wrana ad Elbe / Restaurace u přehrady Vrané n. Vlt.
