Gottwaldov (Zlín) – general view, sent 1949, small format

Original black and white postcard with an overall view of the town of Gottwaldov (today Zlín) from the first half of the 20th century. On the front side there is a detailed panoramic view of the town, where important buildings, a church and the surrounding landscape can be seen. In the lower part of the picture, public transport vehicles (probably buses and trolleybuses), parks and roads with typical urban development are visible. The postcard was sent in 1949, it has a preserved stamp and a clearly legible postmark. On the back side there is a handwritten message addressed to Polička. Overall good condition with minor signs of age, the size approximately corresponds to the classic small format of postcards until 1950. A great collector's item documenting the urban development of Gottwaldov.
