Cheb - Dr. Ed. Beneš Square, historical postcard, circa 1949

Original black and white postcard depicting Dr. Ed. Beneš Square in Cheb. The front side shows a detailed view of the historic houses and the square, which is the center of the city. The postcard dates from the first half of the 20th century, probably around 1949 (according to the marking). The back side is mint, without text, and bears the publisher's mark ORBIS. A great collector's item suitable for lovers of history, architecture and regional motifs from the former Czechoslovakia. The postcard is in very nice condition.
