Postcard 1921 – 300 years since the execution of the Czech lords, Old Town Square

Historical postcard issued in 1921 for the 300th anniversary of the execution of Czech lords on Old Town Square in Prague. On the front side there is a black and white illustration depicting the women and children of the condemned, begging Charles of Liechtenstein for mercy. The back side contains a commemorative text, recalling a painful event in Czech history and the bravery of the executed women. The postcard has minor signs of age, otherwise it is in good collector's condition. An interesting piece for collectors of historical postcards and those interested in Czech history.
