Original historical postcard from May 1945 capturing the atmosphere of liberation in the Czech countryside or in a small town. The photo shows a group of local residents, soldiers and children celebrating the end of the war. People are sitting on an armored vehicle and looking towards the crowd that continues down the street. On the back of the postcard is the inscription MAY 1945. What was is no longer coming back. and there is space for the address and message. The postcard is in nice collector's condition. A unique testimony to the end of World War II in Czechoslovakia.
