Postcard Kolín – multiple shots, Czechoslovakia, postmark, described
Original postcard from the city of Kolín, sent during the time of Czechoslovakia and bearing a period postage stamp. On the front side there are several photographs depicting important objects of the city: the historic town hall on Náměstí Obránců míru, a general view of the city with the dominant feature of the church of St. Bartholomew, a modern communication building, a monument to the composer František Kmoch and an indoor swimming pool. This is a nicely preserved collector's item that documents the atmosphere of the Czech city in the second half of the 20th century. The back side is described and contains an original postmark and a stamp from the period of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic. A great addition to a collection of postcards from Czech cities and regional history.
