Postcards of the Caves of Pomezí and Špičáku
Original postcard of the Na Pomezí Cave and the Na Špičáku Cave, issued during the time of the Czechoslovak Crown. On the front of the postcard are color photographs depicting the beautiful stalactite decoration and unique shapes of these caves. On the back is a short description: The Na Pomezí Cave in Lipová Lázně was discovered in 1936 and stands out for its beautiful karst decoration in chemically pure limestone. The Na Špičáku Cave in Supíkovice has been known since 1430 and is made of white crystalline limestone. The postcard is unused, in good condition, published by Pressfoto Praha, photo by Jan Vrabec. An ideal addition to a collection of Czechoslovak postcards or for lovers of geological monuments.
