Postcard Leipzig Opera – GDR 1967, sent, stamp

I am offering an original period postcard from the former German Democratic Republic (GDR), specifically from Leipzig. The front of the postcard depicts the Leipzig Opera House (Opernhaus am Karl-Marx-Platz), complete with a beautiful flower bed and part of the fountain in the foreground. The postcard was sent in 1967, as evidenced by the stamp and postmark LEIPZIG. The back is handwritten, addressed to Prague. A very nice historical piece for collectors of postcards with the theme of Germany, architecture and cultural monuments. Condition see photo, corner slightly worn. Suitable for a collection or as a gift to a collector.
