Original historical postcard of the town of Písek, located on the Otava River. The postcard was sent in the 1970s, has a stamp from the Czechoslovakian period and a handwritten greeting. On the front side there is a collage of color photographs of important parts of the town, including the river, castle and historic center. On the back side there is a detailed text about the history of the town of Písek: the Gothic monument of the bridge over the Otava from the 13th century, the historic center and new construction are mentioned. Excellent condition, minimal signs of wear. An attractive collector's item from the Czechoslovakian era.
