Lipno – postcard with map, dam and boat transport

The postcard shows the surroundings and attractions of the Lipno area in southern Bohemia. On the front side we find a map of Lake Lipno and its surroundings, including the towns of Horní Planá, Černá v Pošumaví, Frymburk, Lipno and Vyšší Brod. It is complemented by photographs of the Racek Hotel, the dam and boat traffic on the lake. The postcard was published by the Praha publishing house, printed by Severografia Děčín, the photographs were taken by J. Štochl, V. Fuchs and A. Holub. The text on the back informs about the construction of the Lipno dam in 1950–59 and its importance for energy and recreation. The postcard is in nice collector's condition, without damage.
