Karlovy Vary (Karlsbad) - historical postcard, marketplace, small format, until 1950

I am offering an original historical postcard from Karlovy Vary (listed as Karlsbad on the postcard). The front side depicts the marketplace with a view of the city tower and colonnade full of people, in the background you can see the buildings and the surrounding landscape. The postcard is in very nice condition with minimal signs of wear consistent with its age. On the back side you will find a handwritten text, address and two period stamps Czechoslovakia 60 hs with a portrait of the president. This postcard is a valuable document of the atmosphere and life of an important spa town in the first half of the 20th century. A great addition to a collection of historical postcards or for collectors of spa towns.
