Marianske Lazne – Waldquelle, historical postcard, 1909

Original historical postcard with the motif of the Waldquelle (Forest Spring) in Mariánské Lázně, a famous spa town in the Czech Republic. The postcard dates from the early 20th century, probably around 1909 according to the postmark. On the front side there is a color lithographic illustration of the colonnade of the Forest Spring set in a picturesque forest environment. The back side is described by hand and bears a stamp of the Austrian monarchy (5 hellers), addressed to Berlin, Germany. This is a valuable collector's item with an authentic patina, suitable for a collection of historical postcards of Czech spa towns. Condition see photo - slight wear on the edges consistent with age.
