Postcard Písty district Nymburk historical view of the Czech Republic until 1950

This old postcard depicting part of the village of Písty in the Nymburk district is a great example of post-war painting and small-format photography published until 1950. The postcard is in black and white, depicting a peaceful rural scenery with characteristic houses and several figures in the street. On the reverse is handwritten text and a Czechoslovakian postage stamp with the date of the stamp from 1951. The postcard is in nice condition with minor signs of age, such as bends or minor wear to the corners. An ideal collector's treasure for lovers of Czech photography and the history of municipalities, also a valuable document depicting architecture and life in the Czech countryside in the mid-20th century.
