Old view of Divišov - Lower Square and Sokolnika, small format

I am offering an interesting old postcard depicting the Lower Square and the Falconry in the town of Divišov. The postcard is black and white and probably dates from the first half of the 20th century, which is confirmed by its smaller format and style of printing. The front side depicts a public space with a stone paving surface, trees and architecture typical of smaller Czech towns of that time. On the postcard you will also find the printed inscription DIVIŠOV Dolni náměstí a sokolovna and the number 5547, which may be the publisher's catalog number. The back of the postcard is blank, without any interventions or stamps, which indicates that the postcard was never used for sending.

The postcard is in nice condition, with minor signs of age and slight yellowing of the edges. It is suitable for collectors of old Czech postcards, as well as for those interested in urban history or architecture of Central Bohemia. A great piece that will delight with its authenticity and historical value.
