Postcard Ukraine 1961 – Red viburnum, illustration, folklore
Original old postcard from Ukraine, issued in 1961. The front side features a color illustration of a young couple in traditional Ukrainian costumes, surrounded by a blooming viburnum, and the sheet music of the famous Ukrainian folk song Зацвіла в долині червона калина (Začvila v dolini červona kalina). The back side contains the lyrics of the song along with a handwritten message, publisher information, and the original price of 2 kopecks. A beautiful example of Ukrainian culture from the 1960s, suitable for a collection or as a gift for lovers of folklore and old postcards. The condition is consistent with its age, signs of use are visible, but everything is well readable.
