USSR postcard May 1, 1960 – mother and daughter, unused

Original black and white postcard from the USSR, issued for the May 1st celebration. The front side depicts a smiling mother and daughter, who are launching a model airplane together in nature, surrounded by birds and blossoming tree branches. The inscription in Russian says: May 1st!. The postcard is unused, on the back is a print of the manufacturer Photo-Artistic Combine Rostov n. D., serial number and date of manufacture 1960. A very decorative collector's item illustrating the atmosphere of Soviet celebrations of work and family life in the 1960s.
