USSR May 1st postcard – lilies of the valley, handwriting, stamp
Original postcard from the Soviet Union (USSR) with the theme of May Day celebrations (Labor Day). The front side depicts a bunch of lilies of the valley with a red ribbon and the inscription 1 МАЯ! (May 1). The postcard was actually sent - on the back side there is a handwritten message in Russian, postmarks and a period stamp with the motif of a Soviet pilot. A rare collector's item that perfectly captures the atmosphere of that era. Suitable for a collection of postcards from the USSR, for historical study or as a retro decoration. The condition is consistent with its age, see photo.
