Historical postcard – Liberation of Wenceslas Square, Prague 1945

Original historical postcard from the period of World War II depicting the liberation of Wenceslas Square in Prague. The front side has a period black and white photograph of a tank and soldiers surrounded by civilians and celebrating Prague residents in the streets. The back side is divided for writing the address, with the inscription Osvobozené Wenceslas Square in the upper left corner. The postcard has a very authentic patina and minor signs of age, which add to its historical value. An exceptional artifact for collectors and lovers of Czech history.
