The photograph shows a monumental fortress or military fortification, probably from Austria-Hungary, as indicated by the military postmark from 1916 and the designation of the Austro-Hungarian Infantry Regiment No. 98 on the back. The postcard is provided with a handwritten text addressed to Miss Marianka Michalíková from Skalice.
