Historical postcard Austria-Hungary 1916 – soldier, World War I

I am offering an original historical postcard from the First World War, hand-dated 1.11.1916. On the front side there is a portrait of a man in an Austro-Hungarian military uniform with a distinctive collar and cap, posing in front of a wooden building or log cabin. On the left there is an inscription, probably in German. The back of the postcard is clean, unposted, with normal signs of age. The postcard is an interesting artifact for collectors of military history and period portraits.
