War postcard 1917 – soldiers at the front, Salonika, WW1
A historical postcard from the First World War, dated 1917 (Law Feldc 1917). The front side depicts a motif of two soldiers in uniform standing in front of a stone building or shelter with a roof, in field conditions. The postcard is in black and white and the atmosphere of the image faithfully reflects the military life of the time. The back side did not go through the post, but it is provided with a handwritten note and the date Salonika 26.9.1918, which probably refers to the Macedonian front during the war. The postcard is in very good collector's condition, suitable for lovers of military history and collectors of war correspondence.
