Postcard castle guard, RU, shield and halberd, soldier of the 28th regiment

An old postcard depicting a uniformed guard with a halberd and shield by a stone castle wall. A typical example of the traditions of castle guards from the Austro-Hungarian period, on the reverse a handwritten message and address to Prague, franked with a 5 heller stamp. The patina and signs of age give the postcard exceptional charm and historical value. A very nice collector's item for lovers of history and castle motifs.
