Historical black and white postcard depicting a group of four soldiers in uniform playing chess together at a table in the garden. The postcard is provided with handwritten text and the date 23. 6. 1917. This is an authentic period photograph from the First World War. On the back of the postcard there is a legible handwriting and signature. The postcard is in collector's condition, with minor signs of age (holes, corners, yellowing of the paper). A great collector's item capturing the atmosphere of military life in the hinterland during the war.
