Old postcard - church damaged by war, military camp in front of the tabernacle
An original black and white postcard depicting a rural church in a mountainous area, affected by the fighting - the facade is clearly visible with traces of bullets or shrapnel. In the foreground we see a military background - a man in uniform is working at an improvised camp, near wooden shelters and crates. This could be a snapshot from the First World War or from the post-war period in the area of the former front, probably in the territory of Austria-Hungary or southern Poland.
