Old photo of soldiers by the water – small format, circa 1920–1940

An old black and white postcard of a smaller format, depicting a group of soldiers sitting and standing on the shore of a muddy puddle in a landscape without vegetation. The postcard probably dates from the first half of the 20th century. The picture shows seven men in uniforms, probably military, which suggests that it may be a picture from the war or military training period.
