Christmas postcard Watercolor V. Matas – Czechoslovakia, used

Original Czechoslovak postcard with a Christmas theme and a hand-painted winter landscape motif. The front side shows a horse-drawn carriage with a sleigh passing through a snowy landscape, in the foreground two children carrying twigs. The watercolor is the work of V. Matas. On the back side the text "Merry Christmas!" and a sent Christmas card, franked with a Czechoslovak stamp with a postmark. The postcard is dated and used by post, with minor signs of age (yellowing, slightly bent corners). A great collector's item with a beautiful Christmas atmosphere and period charm.
