Historical postcard from 1911 – little girl, Žamberk, RU stamp

Original historical postcard from 1911. On the front side there is a black and white photograph depicting a portrait of a little girl with curly hair, holding a paintbrush and a tin can with the inscription ODOL in her hand. There is a handwritten text on the edge of the picture. The back side of the postcard contains a handwritten letter in Czech, addressed to Žamberk, and is provided with an Austria-Hungary stamp with a portrait of Franz Joseph I worth 5 hellers. The postcard is dated 1911 and provided with a period postmark. Overall, an excellent collector's item illustrating everyday life and style more than a hundred years ago. ADVERTISEMENT
