Postcard cheerful scene Bohemia 1911 color (M9855)
An old postcard from Bohemia, hand-colored, sent in 1911. The postcard is dominated by a cheerful scene of a group of men in folk costumes or period suits, each holding flowers or various gifts (e.g. cake, partridge), which suggests that it is a congratulatory or wedding motif. In the lower corner there is a picturesque view of a rural scenery with a house and trees. On the back you will find a preserved handwritten dedication, a stamp (5 haller, Austro-Hungarian), a legible postmark Teplice – Šanov (1911). The postcard bears signs of age, the corners are slightly worn, the overall condition is very nice and authentic, suitable for a collection of historical postcards from the Austro-Hungarian period.
