Older postcard with a reproduction of the pictorial motif of St. John and the Lamb by the Spanish Baroque painter Bartolomé Esteban Murillo. On the front side there is a picturesque depiction of a small child (St. John the Baptist) embracing a lamb in nature. The back of the postcard is unwritten, with a printed inscription - Stengel & Co., Dresden, St. John and the Lamb , Murillo, Made in Germany. Suitable for collectors of art postcards and lovers of Baroque painting. Condition is consistent with age, slight wear on the edges.
