Slovak ethnographic postcard New Year's Greeting (Ján Hála, 1950)
Original old postcard titled New Year's Greeting from 1950, illustrated by academic painter Ján Hála. The postcard depicts a traditional Slovak village scene in winter - a group of costumed figures walking to a church in the snow among wooden cottages, in the background is typical folk architecture and a snowy landscape. On the back is a handwritten dedication, address and stamp Slovakia with a postmark from 1951. A great collector's item of ethnographic and folklore motifs from the mid-20th century, suitable for a collection or as a decoration.
