I am offering an old postcard from Germany from 1947, as evidenced by the used German stamp and postmark from Karlsruhe. The postcard is in good condition for its age, including a completely filled and stamped reverse. On the front side there is a printed black and white image of a landscape with a forest and mountains in the background. The handwritten address and text with the Czech recipient illustrate the interesting post-war postal history between Germany and the then Czechoslovakia.
