Postcard painting – J. Kočí, Songs of a slave, stormy sea, old
Original old postcard with a painting motif inspired by the poem J. Kočí – Svat. Čech: Songs of a Slave XXIII. Chapter. The postcard depicts a young man on the seashore with a dramatic stormy sky in the background, welcoming the storm with outstretched arms. On the back is printed the text of the poem and the publisher's name "Minerva" uměl. závod Praha, Národní třída 23. Condition see photo, the postcard is without a stamp and without a description, only a small handwritten sign in the corner. A very interesting collector's item representing Czech painting and literature before the middle of the 20th century.
