Easter postcard – Resurrection of the Lord, painted, Vincentinum, circa 1920
An old Easter postcard with the theme of the Resurrection of the Lord. On the front side there is a colorful painting of Christ rising from the tomb, with soldiers surprised by his resurrection. The image looks very lively and is shrouded in soft pastel colors, dominated by the symbol of the resurrection and the joy of Easter. Issued by the charitable organization "Vincentinum" in Prague - Břevnov for the benefit of terminally ill children. The back side contains the original handwritten Easter greeting and is addressed to Mr. Jan Lom. The postcard shows signs of age, some wear in the corners, but overall in good condition. Ideal for collectors of historical and religious postcards or those interested in painting.
