Postcard M. Aleš – Governor of Tábor, 1893, historical drawing
Original postcard with a drawing by Mikoláš Alš – HEJTMAN TÁBORSKÝ, pencil, 1893. Postcard published by Štencov grafický kabinet, Prague, Ferdinandova 19. On the front of the postcard is a reproduction of a drawing of the Hussite hetman in full armor and a typical chalice. On the edge is a legible inscription “Who are you, God’s warriors!”. The back is described, bears traces of age, stains and wear – see photo. This is a collectible postcard from the end of the 19th century, suitable for lovers of Czech history, painting and fine arts. The patina is expressive and authentic condition – I recommend it to collectors of historical postcards and graphics.
