Painting postcard - The Doctor (Fildes), circa 1920, used

An old art postcard with a doctor's theme at a sick patient. The postcard is based on the famous painting The Doctor by Sir Luke Fildes and depicts a dramatic scene of care in a domestic environment at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. The postcard was used, sent from the town of Nejdek and provided with a 50-haller postage stamp (Czechoslovakia). The back is written in a period handwriting and bears the recipient's address in Prague. The overall condition is consistent with its age: slightly worn corners and minor signs of handling. Suitable for collectors of historical or genre postcards.
