Postcard of the Czech Republic 1935, painting by J. Strnad – rural village square, stamp
Historical postcard from the period of the First Republic, sent in 1935. On the front of the postcard is a beautiful painted motif of a rural square with typical Czech cottages with straw roofs, a green tree and a statue. The author of the motif is J. Strnad (title of the painting SQUARE). The postcard is provided with an original Czechoslovak 50h stamped stamp print and a handwritten greeting addressed to Mr. Václav Březin in Prague. A Czechoslovak product, the postcard has distinct signs of the period and is very well preserved without major damage. A collector's item for lovers of history and regional color.
