Postcard Antonín Marek – Czech poet and thinker, 1935

An old postcard with a portrait of Antonín Marek (1785–1877), a Czech poet and thinker. The postcard probably dates from the first half of the 20th century and bears a handwritten text on the back, dated 6. 5. 1935 from Měchle. The upper edge of the reverse contains the name and dates of the famous personality to whom the postcard is dedicated. In the upper right corner on the back there are remnants of a postage stamp and a postmark. A beautiful collector's item depicting a significant figure in Czech history.
