Older postcard with a portrait of František Jaromír Rubeš, a prominent Czech writer and poet of the 19th century. The postcard was printed based on a lithograph by František Šír from 1845. On the left side are biographical details: born in Čížov on 16. 1. 1814, died in Skutč on 10. 8. 1853. Published by the Havlíček printing and publishing house in Německý Brod. Condition of the postcard considering its age: visible traces of soiling, small stains, slightly bumped corners. Suitable for collectors of personalities or those interested in literary history.
