I am offering an original historical postcard from the series Our Heroes with a portrait of František Jaromír Rubeš (1814–1853), a prominent Czech humorist and publisher of the magazine Paleček. On the front of the postcard is a detailed line drawing of his appearance, on the back you will find a short description and space for writing the address. The postcard was published by Jos. Hladký in Prague-Vinohrady as part of a collection of postcards-portraits. Excellent condition, not listed. An ideal addition to any collection of commemorative and personal postcards, also suitable as a gift for collectors or lovers of Czech history.
