Original historical postcard with a portrait of JS Machar (1864), a prominent realist poet, pioneer of new Czech culture, satirist and fighter for the Czech cause. This is an item from the collection of postcards-portraits Our Heroes, which was managed and published by Jos. Hladký, Prague-Vinohrady. On the front side there is a drawn portrait of JS Machar, on the back side a short biographical text. The postcard is not described, it is in very good condition with minimal signs of age.
